Confession: I cannot possibly write an objective review of Badflower. They were one of the openers for the first show I ever photographed from the photo pit, back in 2017, and I fell in love with them that night. I also photographed them later that year when they opened for Greta Van Fleet. I bought their music, kept up with them on social media, watched them perform on late-night TV, and predicted their rise to success. Needless to say, I was thrilled to learn I’d been approved for their headlining show at The Hi-Fi Indy on April 26, 2019.
I expected - and received - a killer show. All four members of this LA-based band poured their hearts and souls into their performance, leaving the packed house wanting more. Keep your eyes on these guys - I have no doubt they’ll be hitting the top of the mainstreet charts soon!
